Parent engagement is a crucial piece to Lafayette's success. Lafayette embraces active parents as integral components to their child's success. We actively seeks to partner with our families and want them to be a part of the decision making process to further student achievement. Parents are encouraged to participate and become leaders in the School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Council (ELAC), and Superintendent's Forum. In addition, families of our children can volunteer or participate in the classroom, or for any number of our school events. Become a Lafayette VIP today and volunteer at our school and participate in various schoolwide activities: 1. Welcome Back Family Pizza Party-August 28 2. Cultural Celebrations Parents are able to stay abreast of our school's events and student success through the Lafayette website, ClassDojo, and phone messages.
